Trial date set for man charged in Punnichy death

A new court date has been set for a Regina man, who remains in custody, in connection with a death in Punnichy.

On April 22nd, Mounties received a report of an injured female at a home in the town.

31-year-old Kihaw Fox of the Piapot First Nation, was pronounced dead at the scene.

28-year-old Ethan Sunshine is charged with Second Degree Murder, and will stand trial in Regina Court of King’s Bench, where he appeared Friday, with his next pretrial date set for December 15th.

His jury trial is scheduled for December 9th of next year.
