A north central Manitoba boy charged with First Degree Murder, has appeared in court again.

The 17-year-old, whose name can’t be released due to his age, was remanded in custody today (Fri), for his next court date on November 23rd.

On February 10th, RCMP were called to a home in the Esterhazy/ Stockholm area, where three males allegedly broke in and stole firearms, a significant amount of ammunition, and the home owner’s vehicle, which was later found burned a short distance away.

Upon arrival, Mounties found a 34-year-old man shot dead, and a woman had to be taken to hospital for medical treatment.
