Melville City Council has approved a feasibility study to team up with the Town of Springside
Melville City Council has given the go-ahead to pursue a feasibility study that will explore the potential for providing water to the Town of Springside.
Council voted in favour of pursuing the study, with Mayor Walter Streelasky saying that the city’s water system is working very well five years into its operation with the hope that the infrastructure will service the city for at least the next 35 to 40 years.
The study will look at how water would be provided to Springside, the potential cost of such a project, and what grants would be available to help offset the cost.
