Jail Time for Pine Creek First Nation Man Convicted in Shooting Incident

A Pine Creek First Nation man convicted in connection with a shooting incident in June of 2021, has been sentenced.

26-year-old Jericho Flatfoot was recently found guilty of numerous weapon offences, and one count of uttering threats.

He’s been sentenced to 496 days in jail, going forward.

Police say a 22-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his hand, but didn’t report the incident to police, and didn’t have the injury treated in hospital.
