The City of Melville administration is inviting residents to apply for volunteer positions on some of the City Boards and Committees that they have to offer.

Some of the boards with vacancies available include: The Public Libary board, Van advisory board, Regional Park authority, and the Recreation, Culture & Tourism Advisory committee.

THREE OUTDOOR RINKS IN MELVILLE NOW FULLY OPERATIONAL
City crews in Melville have been busy early in 2024 with the temperatures plummeting & the first notable snowfall of the year upon us.
Director of Public Works for the City of Melville Andrew Fahlman says also with the much cooler temperatures it’s allowed the outdoor rinks to become operational.
The three outdoor rinks in Melville are located at Gordon Keats Memorial Park on Prince Edward Street, at Kinsmen Park and on 10th avenue West just south of Quebec Drive.
Fahlman encourages all to enjoy the skating or shinny and to make sure to dress for elements
