A Kawacatoose First Nation man, charged in connection with death on the reserve in 2021, was back in court yesterday.

35-year-old Eric Favel is charged with Second Degree Murder, and will return to Regina Court of King’s Bench on April 29 for his jury trial.

On the morning of November 26, 2021, Punnichy RCMP responded to a report of an injured male at a Kawacatoose home.

Thomas Dustyhorn was taken to hospital in Saskatoon, where he died of his injuries later that evening.
