Crack open a smile with these chocolate crackle cookies!

Happy Monday, everyone! 🌟 I hope your week is off to a fantastic start. I brought in some sweet treats for all my wonderful co-workers today. This time, I decided to try my hand at making Chocolate Crackle Cookies, also known as Chocolate Pixies. And let me tell you, they turned out even better than I expected!

The moment I opened the oven and saw those beautiful crackly tops, I knew I had a winner on my hands. These cookies are the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and chewy on the outside. Trust me, you won’t be able to have just one!

If you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth or just want to impress your friends and family with a delicious homemade treat, I highly recommend giving this recipe a try. It’s simple, doesn’t make a lot of dishes, and is guaranteed to be a hit with anyone who tries it.

Here’s the recipe for my Chocolate Crackle Cookies:

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • Icing sugar, as needed

Instructions:

  1. Over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate in a large saucepan, stirring constantly until melted. Cool slightly.
  2. Add in the rest of the ingredients except the icing sugar. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour for easier handling.
  4. Preheat oven to 300°F. Form dough into 1-inch balls, then roll balls in icing sugar until generously coated. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 300°F for 13 to 18 minutes or until set. Immediately remove from baking sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely.

I hope you enjoy making and sharing these Chocolate Crackle Cookies as much as I did. Let me know if you give the recipe a try and how they turn out for you. Happy baking, everyone! 🍪✨
