Hudson Bay Man Charged with Firearm Trafficking Released From Custody

A new court date has been set for a Hudson Bay man, arrested in connection with a firearm trafficking investigation.

In Melfort Thursday, 56-year-old Steven Bondy was released from custody, but will return to court in Hudson Bay on April 23rd.

RCMP raided a home in the Hudson Bay area March 6th, and seized forty rifles, two handguns, about twenty more firearms in various states of disassemble, and more than 10-thousand rounds of ammunition.

They also confiscated illegal cigarettes, mint coins and gold jewelry believed to be stolen, and small amounts of cocaine and crystal meth.
