A new court date has been set for a man arrested in connection with a death on the Birdtail Sioux Dakota Nation.

29-year-old Michael Hanska appeared in Virden Friday, charged with Second Degree Murder.

He was remanded in custody to June 7th.

On January 23rd, the Manitoba First Nations Police Service was called to a report of an injured man at a home on the reserve, and upon arrival, they found a 40-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
