Man Charged With Murder on The Key First Nation Appears in Court

One of two people arrested in connection with the death of a man from The Key First Nation, has appeared in court again.

35-year-old Jeffrey Kayseas of the Fishing Lake First Nation was in Yorkton yesterday (Thu), where he was remanded in custody to April 22nd.

He’s charged with First Degree Murder in the 2022 shooting death of 51-year-old Cory Papequash.

His co-accused, 32-year-old Natashia Keshane of The Key First Nation, is scheduled to appear in Yorkton Court today (Fri).
