SaskTel announces another $80 million to expand its infiNET service to 61 more communities

SaskTel is pumping an additional 80-million dollars into its Rural Fibre Initiative, in order to expand its SaskTel infiNET service to another 61 communities across Saskatchewan.

The communities that were announced Monday will be part of Phase Seven of the Rural Fibre Initiative, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

Among the communites announced to be receiving expanded service are:  Arborfield, Good Spirit, Lemberg, Neudorf, Stockholm, Theodore, B-Say-Tah at Echo Lake, Katepwa, Lipton, Pelly, Punnichy, Wapella, Wawota, Buchanan, Kelliher, Maryfield, Redvers, Rose Valley, and Whitewood..

SaskTel says its infiNET service delivers internet speeds of up to a Gigabit per second, and has the capacity to grow, to support the evolving and growing needs of its customers.
