A break for one of four people arrested in connection with drug and weapon busts on the George Gordon First Nation and in Punnichy.
On April 19, police responded to a report of potentially-armed individuals traveling in a vehicle on the reserve, which resulted in the seizure of about 14 grams of crystal meth, four grams of fentanyl, a machete, and some cash.
The next day, RCMP searched a home in Punnichy, and seized about 114 grams of crystal meth, 25 grams of cocaine, 17 grams of fentanyl, over 100 grams of cannabis, some weapons, and cash.
In Regina Court yesterday (Thu), the charges against 20-year-old Tylena Favel of the Kawacatoose First Nation, were stayed by the Crown Prosecutor.
