It’s jail time for a man charged following an incident on the Muskowekwan First Nation.
Punnichy RCMP were called to the reserve in July of last year, on a report of a break, enter, and theft.
When police tried to enter the home, the suspect began to throw several items at them, and was pointing what appeared to be a firearm.
He later surrendered peacefully.
In Punnichy Court yesterday (Tue), 40-year-old Anthony Lowe of the Muskowekwan First Nation was sentenced to 200 days in jail, to be followed by 18 months of probation.
