Update regarding walk-in health services in the Canora-Preeceville area

Patients in the Canora and Preeceville areas now have enhanced access to primary health care, through walk-in clinic services, on a first-come, first-served basis for non-emergency conditions.

Some of those conditions include ear infections, cough and cold symptoms, urinary tract infections, pinkeye, diarrhea, fever and vomiting, sore throats and sinus infections..

Beginning July 3, walk-in services will be offered at the Preeceville and District Health Centre shifting from Tuesday to Wednesday mornings only, with in-person registration starting at 8:15 a.m..

Meanwhile in Canora, while at the Canora Health and Wellness Centre, walk-in services are available Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 1 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Patients can still book appointments through their primary care providers, and prescriptions can also be renewed through them, or in many cases, pharmacists.

If you need emergency services, the Saskatchewan Health Authority reminds you to call 911.

If you have questions regarding non-emergency health matters, you’re invited to call 811, to reach the provincial HealthLine.
