Exploring Jasper National Park and Beyond: Family Adventures in Alberta

Hey everyone! I just got back from the most amazing trip to Jasper National Park in Alberta, and I’ve just got to share all the incredible things my family and I did. It was one of those trips that perfectly blended adventure, relaxation, and family fun!

I’ve never been to Jasper before but this place is a nature lover’s dream come true. Our days were filled with hiking through just gorgeous places. I got to see the Columbia Ice Fields, see Mt. Edith Cavell and the Angel glacier, and multiple waterfalls. I got to soak in all the surrounding beauty. For real, the air was so crisp and fresh, and the views were nothing short of postcard-perfect.

After a few days in Jasper, we headed to Edmonton and had a blast shopping at the West Edmonton Mall. This place is massive! I must’ve walked the whole mall at least three times! It’s a place where you gotta map out your route ahead of time. My feet were so sore by the end of the day, but it was so worth it for everything I bought. I got to go to Urban Outfitters, the Crocs store, a British food store…I honestly lost track of how many stores I went into.

While in Edmonton on the way to visit, I made my family stop at the Nathan Fillion Civilian Pavilion. It’s a little parklet, but it’s something that was actually five years in the making in the city of Edmonton. It was so cool to see a spot dedicated to such a talented actor. Fun fact: he’s originally from Edmonton!

My time in Alberta wouldn’t have been complete without some quality family time. We visited our loved ones in the charming city of St. Albert. It was so wonderful to catch up, share stories, and enjoy some delicious home-cooked meals. There’s nothing better than the comfort of being with family.

This trip was everything I hoped for and more. From the majestic mountains of Jasper to the bustling excitement of Edmonton, and the cozy family time in St. Albert, I truly had so much fun!
