The Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association handed out their 2024 Awards, and it included a local winner.

Garrett Karcha, the Athletic Director at Sacred Heart High School, won the Service Award for 2024.

Karcha who has been the AD for the past 15 years, has been coaching since the early 2000’s in a variety of sports including Football, Track and Field and Baseball among others.

This award honors people who have provided outstanding leadership, service, and the promotion of high school athletics in the district.
