New court date for woman charged in Swan River vehicle theft

A woman, accused of stealing a vehicle from Swan River, and leading police on a high speed chase, was back in court Wednesday.

On April 4, Swan River RCMP were called on a report of someone entering a home, taking a set of keys, and taking a vehicle.

The vehicle led police on a high-speed chase, until a spike belt was used on Highway 10, to disable it.

32-year-old Trisha Cook appeared in Swan River yesterday, and was remanded in custody to July 16, in Dauphin.
