A Calder man charged in connection with a death in that area, has a new court date.
On July 2, 49-year-old Curtis Sokoloski was committed for trial in Yorkton Court of King’s Bench, and he remains in custody, with a pretrial appearance set for July 26.
Last June, Mounties were called to a home in the Calder district, to conduct a wellness check on 61-year-old Bentley Baumung, and he was found dead.
Sokoloski was arrested in Russell the next day, and charged with Second Degree Murder and Committing an Indignity to a Body.
