Manitoba Invests $39 Million in Parkland Highways

The Manitoba government is allocating over $39 million to repair and improve highways and culverts in the Parkland region, announced Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Lisa Naylor.

“Our robust investment strategy strengthens essential roadways and infrastructure for rural communities,” said Naylor.

Key projects include surfacing Provincial Trunk Highway 5A in Dauphin, replacing culverts on PTH 10 south of Mafeking, and restoring PTH 77. Mayor David Bosiak of Dauphin praised the upgrades for enhancing safety, business, and tourism.

Budget 2024 commits $500 million to provincial highway and infrastructure improvements.
