Sentencing for Man Involved in Dauphin Electronics Theft

A man charged in connection with an electronics theft from a Dauphin business, has admitted his guilt.

Dauphin RCMP were called to the Main Street business on April 17, when they say two men stole about 12 thousand dollars worth of electronics from the store and fled in a black SUV, that picked up a third man, before fleeing.

The trio was later arrested during a traffic stop in Riding Mountain National Park.

34-year-old Florin Chelu was in Dauphin Court yesterday (Wed), where he was sentenced to time already served in custody, and two years of probation.
