Two Men Sentenced to Prison for Death on Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation

Sentencing has been handed down to two men, who admitted to Manslaughter for a death on the Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation.

In December of 2022, Clear Lake RCMP were called to a home on the reserve, on a report of an unresponsive male.

A 54-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 24-year-old woman was injured, and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

In Brandon Court yesterday (Wed), 30-year-old Trevor Bone was sentenced to seven years in prison, less 911 days already served in custody.

22-year-old Dakota Bone also received seven years in prison, less 908 days already served.
