A warrant has been issued for a Duck Bay, Manitoba man, charged in connection with a drug investigation in Thompson.

31-year-old Christopher Cordell was scheduled to stand trial in Thompson Wednesday, on charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

However, after no-showing a pretrial appearance on June 13, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

In the early morning hours of March 13, 2021, Mounties pulled over a taxi on Princeton Drive, arresting the male passenger, and seizing a quantity of cash, and about 140 grams of cocaine.
