Virden RCMP and RCMP Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate the discovery of a body over the weekend.

Around 5:15 Sunday afternoon, Mounties were notified that a deceased man had been found lying near a property on Road 150 West in the R.M. of Pipestone.

At the scene, police found the body of a 26-year-old Virden man,whose name has not been released.

The cause of death has yet to be determined, pending the results of an autopsy.
