Four Charged in Yorkton Assault, Suspect Still at Large

In the early hours of September 5th, Yorkton RCMP responded to an assault at a business on Broadway.

A seriously injured man was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Following the investigation, four individuals—two male youth and two adult males—have been charged.

The youth, who cannot be named, face charges including robbery with a weapon and aggravated assault. One is also charged with Disguise with Intent. They were arrested on September 13, 2024, and remain in custody.

30-year-old Michael Weber was arrested on September 5, while 20-year-old Derrick Brass remains at large, with a warrant issued for his arrest.

Brass is described as 5’5” with brown hair and eyes, and is known to frequent Kamsack. Police urge the public not to approach him.

The investigation is ongoing.
