Stolen Items Recovered at Keeseekoowenin First Nation

Hamiota RCMP has recovered stolen items after a complaint.

On September 10th, Mounties, along with Manitoba West District CREST, received a report that a 2024 Polaris Side by Side had been stolen from a cottage at Sandy Lake.

They got a tip that it may be at a residence on Keeseekoowenin First Nation.

After investigation, a search warrant was executed, and officers recovered the side by side.

A further search of the property led to the recovery of four golf carts, two snowmobiles, two off-road vehicles, one trailer and six firearms.

A 25-year-old man from Keeseekoowenin First Nation was arrested and released and has a pending court date on December 17th in Minnedosa.
