A 22-year-old female from Grand Prairie, AB, is dead after a fatal collision near Wapella Wednesday evening.

Moosomin RCMP responded to the scene around 9:30 PM and determined that a semi and a truck had collided.

The passenger of the truck was dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi, 21-year-old Zachory Taylor, is charged with the operation of a motor vehicle while impaired, causing death, operation while prohibited, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

He also had outstanding warrants from Nipawin and Weyburn RCMP.

Taylor is scheduled to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on September 23rd.
