Cornerstone Credit Union presents $50,000 grant for improvements to Indian Head’s football field

McCall Field at Indian Head High School is the first recipient of funding through “Project Cornerstone” for 2024.

The program supports projects that improve the quality of life in the communities it serves, and Cornerstone CEO Doug Jones says they were proud to make the announcement of a $50-thousand grant on Friday night, at halftime of the Indian Head Broncs’ football game against Broadview.,

The funding will help to cover the cost of a multi-phase renovation project at McCall Field, which includes field resurfacing, irrigation, permanent lighting, and the installation of refurbished bleachers.

The project is being led by the Indian Head Broncs Parents’ Association.

Cornerstone Credit Union has allocated $100-thousand in funding for “Project Cornerstone” in 2024, with more grants to be announced over the coming weeks.
