Another court appearance has been made by a man, arrested in connection with a drug trafficking investigation in Yorkton.

22-year-old Chaitanya Parashar of Scarborough, Ontario, admitted his guilt yesterday (Mon) in Yorkton, and was sentenced to 36 months in prison, less time already served in custody.

On August 20, Yorkton Mounties executed search warrants at a business and on a vehicle in the city.

Police seized about 373 grams of cocaine, about 70 grams of fentanyl, about 544 grams of crystal meth, a large sum of cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
