New court date for Alberta man charged in May 2022 drug bust near Raymore

A Whitecourt, Alberta man arrested near Raymore on drug charges, was back in Regina Court of King’s Bench Tuesday.

The trial for 47-year-old Craig Taylor was scheduled to start Monday, but he failed to show.

However, he appeared Tuesday, and his matter was adjourned to October 18, to set a new trial date.

In May of 2022, Punnichy RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Highway 15.

They seized a one-kilogram bag of crystal meth, 96 OxyContin pills, illegal cigarettes, knives, batons, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
