This past Sunday, Dauphin RCMP made a significant seizure following a high-speed chase on Mountain Avenue.
The suspect vehicle fled after officers attempted a traffic stop, running a red light and striking another car and a pedestrian.
The driver and passenger fled on foot but were apprehended with the help of an RCMP drone and Police Service Dog Marook.
A search of the vehicle uncovered a loaded shotgun, a large sum of cash, and suspected cocaine.
The pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
26-year-old Samuel Flatfoot and 22-year-old Marcus George face multiple charges, including dangerous driving and drug trafficking. Both remain in custody.
