Two Men Who Admitted to Accessory After the Fact to Murder, Appear in Court Again

A new development in the case of two men, who have pleaded guilty to Accessory After the Fact to Murder, in relation to a death on the Keeseekoose First Nation.

In Yorkton Court of King’s Bench today (Thu), 42-year-old Edgar Kakakaway Senior was sentenced to 1095 days in prison, less the 17 days he’s already served in custody.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old Telesphore Wapash had his matter adjourned until October 7, to set a sentencing date.

In November of 2022, Kamsack RCMP were called to the Keeseekoose First Nation, where they found a 16-year-old Cote First Nation boy dead at the scene.
