A woman who admitted to a death on the Pine Creek First Nation, has appeared in court again.

In June of 2022,, Winnipegosis RCMP were called to a reported stabbing at Pine Creek.

They found an injured 51-year-old man, who was taken to hospital, but died from his wounds.

42-year-old Sheryl Thompson pleaded guilty to Manslaughter in August, and is scheduled to be sentenced in Dauphin Court in January.
