The deadline has now passed to submit nomination forms for next month’s Yorkton municipal election.

There is one candidate challenging Mitch Hippsley for the Mayor’s chair, Aaron Kienle (keen-lee) will run against Hippsley again.

There are ten people running for the six councilor seats.

They are Dustin Brears, Randy Goulden, Quinn Haider, Ron Irvine, Todd Kulscar, Greg Litvanyi, Lauretta Ritchie-Mcinnes, Darcy Zaharia, Stephanie Ortynsky and Gurjit Dhaliwal

Municipal election day is on Wednesday, November 13.
