A Winnipeg man wanted on warrants stemming from a stolen vehicle investigation around the Moosomin and Rocanville areas, has appeared in court again.

On August 21, Mounties were alerted that a stolen truck from Manitoba was headed towards the area and was later spotted on Highway 8.

The driver fled, resulting in the theft of a truck from Rocanville, that was found later that day in Moosomin, when police were unsuccessful in pulling it over.

Mounties say 35-year-old David Penner was arrested in Manitoba on August 22, and he will appear in Moosomin Court again on December 17.
