Another Court Appearance for Man Charged With Murder on Yellow Quill First Nation

A new court date has been set for a Yellow Quill First Nation man, arrested for the death of a woman on the reserve.

26-year-old Cole Smokeyday appeared in Rose Valley yesterday (Wed) on three charges, including Second Degree Murder, and was remanded in custody to November 6.

On August 18, Rose Valley RCMP received a report of an injured person at a Yellow Quill residence.

24-year-old Terrance Tony-Kishayinew was pronounced dead at the scene.
