A new court date has been set for a man charged in a case of arson in Ethelbert.

54-year-old Marc Dorais of Ethelbert faces numerous charges, including Arson with Disregard for Human Life, and he’s been remanded in custody to November 25 in Winnipeg.

In the early morning hours of June 1, someone lit a home in Ethelbert on fire from the outside.

A woman and her three children escaped without injury, before the blaze was extinguished.
