New trial date set for Alberta man charged in May 2022 drug bust near Raymore

A Whitecourt, Alberta man arrested near Raymore on drug charges, has a new trial date.

On Friday, the non-jury trial for 47-year-old Craig Taylor was set for January 19-21, 2026 in Regina Court of King’s Bench, but his next pretrial appearance there will be on January 17 of next year.

In May of 2022, Punnichy RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Highway 15.

They seized a one-kilogram bag of crystal meth, 96 OxyContin pills, illegal cigarettes, knives, batons, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
