I recently had a pretty exciting milestone; I voted for the first time in the provincial election! And honestly, the whole experience was nothing but good vibes.
It all started with the arrival of my voter registration card. You know, there’s just something about receiving mail that’s not a bill or junk! I was like, “Yes, it’s finally here!”
With my voter card and ID in hand, I made my way to the polling station. I was a bit nervous walking in, but that feeling vanished the moment I was greeted with warm smiles from everyone working there. Despite it being a busy day for them, they all kept their spirits high and were so welcoming. Major props to them! 🤗
The whole voting process was a breeze. In just about five minutes, I’d marked my X on the ballot and placed it in the box. And of course, I couldn’t resist stopping for an obligatory I Voted selfie. They had it set up and everything!
If you haven’t voted yet, I strongly encourage you to do so. It’s quick, easy, and you’ll walk out with a sense of satisfaction that you contributed to the future of Saskatchewan. So to all my fellow voters-to-be, grab your registration cards and head to the polls. You won’t regret it! Last day to vote is Monday, October 28th.
