A Langenburg man arrested in connection with a fatal ATV rollover in the R-M of Riding Mountain West, has made his first court appearance.

19-year-old Ashton Betke was in Russell yesterday (Wed), charged with Impaired Driving Causing Death, and he had his matter adjourned until November 27.

On August 11, Russell RCMP received a report of an off-road vehicle collision in the Kilman Cottage area.

A 19-year-old Killaly woman was ejected from the ATV, and pronounced dead at the scene.
