Swan Valley Stampeders complete a trio of trades on Thursday

The Swan Valley Stampeders completed three separate deals this week. 

First the Stampeders traded 19 year old forward Will Munro to the SJHL’s Melfort Mustangs in exchange for 2006-born forward Jake Giacobbo and a player development fee. 

Munro, a Swan River product had seven points in 10 games with the Stampeders. 

Giacobbo, a native of St. Albert, AB, collected two goals in seven games this season with the Mustangs. 

Then, the Stampeders traded 19 year old defenceman Ty Easton to the Selkirk Steelers (MJHL) in exchange for a player development fee. 

Easton, a native of Campbell River, BC, collected 1 goal, adding 60 penalty minutes in 16 games this season.

Finally, Swan Valley acquire 2006-born defenceman Gavin Bartha from the Olds Grizzlys of the AJHL for a player development fee. 
Bartha collected one assist in 12 games this season.


The Stampeders return to action on Friday night visiting the Niverville Nighthawks starting at 7:30 PM.
