Ste. Rose RCMP responded to a call early on November 7, after a 25-year-old man was found injured in a ditch on Ebb and Flow First Nation.

The man, suffering serious assault-related injuries, was airlifted to hospital and is now in stable condition.

Surveillance footage led officers to arrest a 16-year-old male suspect at a nearby home.

The youth was released pending a January 7, 2025, court date in Dauphin, where he will face an aggravated assault charge.

RCMP continue investigating and anticipates further arrests. Anyone with information is urged to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
