Another court appearance for a Hamilton, Ontario truck driver facing drug charges, in connection with a traffic stop near Indian Head earlier this year.
On July 29, the Saskatchewan Highway Patrol stopped a semi unit on the Trans Canada Highway, and asked Indian Head RCMP to assist.
A search of the trailer led to the discovery of four pallets, containing a total of nearly 12-hundred pounds of dried cannabis, or almost 19-thousand ounces.
The truck driver, 40-year-old Inderjit Singh, appeared in Indian Head Court Tuesday on drug possession and distribution charges, and the matter was adjourned to December 17.
