The Good Spirit School Division Board of Education announced its composition for the 2024-2025 term following the recent elections. The Board includes a mix of seasoned members and fresh faces, with four returning members and five newly elected representatives.

The 11-member Board represents a diverse range of communities:

• Jaime Johnson (Subdivision #1 – Kamsack/Norquay and area)
• Christopher Balyski (Subdivision #2 – Preeceville/Sturgis and area)
• Shannon Leson (Subdivision #3 – Canora/Invermay and area)
• Nicole Pohl (Subdivision #4 – Springside/Yorkdale Rural and area)
• Kelly Palmer (Subdivision #5 – Churchbridge/Langenburg/Saltcoats and area)
• Kendra Stav (Subdivision #6 – Grayson/Melville and area)
• Jamie Smart-Sondergaard (Subdivision #7 – Esterhazy/Stockholm and area)
• Jay-Cee Brass (Subdivision #8 – Key First Nation Reserve No. 65)
• Cara Makort, Jan Morrison, and Steve Variyan (Yorkton-At-Large)

The blend of experience and new perspectives aims to strengthen the Board’s ability to address the needs of the Good Spirit School Division.
