Man Charged for Armed Robbery on Sapotaweyak Cree Nation Appears in Court Again

A new court date has been set for a man, arrested following an armed robbery on the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.

On November 2, Swan River RCMP responded to a report of a man who allegedly assaulted two men, and forced them to empty their pockets and turn over their cell phones at gunpoint.  

24-year-old Chandler Cook and two other people were later arrested in a vehicle at the gas station in Mafeking.

Cook was in Dauphin Court yesterday (Thu), where he was remanded in custody to next Tuesday.
