Shelwin House in Yorkton has received a one-thousand dollar donation from the sale of GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbooks.

Outreach and Education Coordinator Dolores LaVangie expressed her appreciation for the donation, and says the money will be used to support the operations of Shelwin House itself, along with its residents, including providing Christmas gifts or a special meal for residents during their stay.

She says donations such as this are important, especially during the holiday season, as it’s a particularly difficult time to have things change in your life.
