A routine traffic stop near Russell has resulted in a drug seizure and three arrests.

Last Thursday, Mounties pulled over a vehicle, and learned that the 34-year-old driver didn’t have a valid licence.

A 50-year-old man was asked to switch spots with the driver, and that’s when police noticed drugs in plain view.

34-year-old Kacey Packham and two other men, all from Brandon, were arrested and charged with drug trafficking, and Packham remains in custody.
