One of two White Bear First Nation men charged following the death of a man on the reserve last week has made his first court appearance.
Carlyle RCMP were called to a White Bear home in the early morning hours of December 3, where they found the body of 33-year-old Talon Lonethunder, of Coronach.
22-year-old Jeremy Whitebear was in Estevan Provincial Court Monday, charged with second degree murder, and he was remanded in custody to appear there again on December 16.
Police are still looking for 26-year-old Dwayne Maxie, who is charged with manslaughter.
Maxie, who also goes by the name “Georgie,” is about six foot two inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair.
