The Manitoba government has advised of an increased outflow from the Shellmouth Reservoir.
It’s part of the normal operation to draw down the level of the dam in preparation for spring runoff from the upper Assiniboine River.
The increase in outflow will result in a one-and-a-half to two feet level increase on the Assiniboine River from Shellmouth to Russell.
There will also be a one to one-and-a-half foot rise in the water level from Russell to Brandon.
