An arrest warrant has been issued for a 26-year-old man in connection with a shooting that occurred yesterday morning in The Pas.

RCMP responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex on Cathedral Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a 42-year-old man in the stairwell, suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later airlifted to a Winnipeg hospital for further treatment.

Police are now searching for Darcy Campbell, who has been charged with aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm, and multiple other offenses.
