We made a $1,000 donation to the Parkland Victim Services. They assist victims and witnesses of crime and traumatic events in Yorkton and the surrounding area. We have been able to make donations to the program for many years now. I believe this year brings us to $8,000 donated.

All of the money GX94 is able to donate during the holiday season is from the sale of the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbook. We have some fantastic sponsors from Yorkton who have been a part of the cookbook for a very long time.

Haas Nissan in Yorkton is one such sponsor. They have been a sponsor of the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbooks from pretty much the very first year!

We usually kick off the Christmas Cookbook season at Haas Nissan with our first live on location, and the GX94 listeners never disappoint. For the very beginning you guys have been coming out to get your copy of the cookbook. The stories that I have been hearing the past couple of years have been so heartwarming!

Stories like, “My best friend collected these, and now I’m continuing on the tradition”, or “My mom used to buy these every year for the kids. Now I’m making sure we keep that tradition going.”
